Big Trouble – Original Art Print by David Peche | 13" × 19"
Some creatures were never meant to be tamed — and Big Trouble makes that perfectly clear.
Created in March 2025, this is David Peche's fearsome reimagining of the legendary Flying Eye Guardian from the cult classic film Big Trouble in Little China. Where the original is chaotic and absurd, David's version is something far more unsettling — a predator stripped of all comedy, rebuilt from the ground up in pure geometric menace.
The creature is all head, all presence. Six horns define its silhouette with brutal intention — two at the crown curve downward and sweep back like the horns of a charging ram, two from the sides of the skull arc upward and back with predatory grace, and two below the cheekbones hook downward and back, framing the face like weapons built for close quarters. Its mouth is pulled back in a full snarl, teeth bared, daring you to look away. And then there are the eyes — concentric rings of silver and red, cold and unblinking, the kind of eyes that don't just see you, they track you. They've already decided.
Rendered in David's signature geometric style, every plane and angle of this creature is deliberate — sharp shapes locked together with the precision of a medical illustrator who knows exactly where the threat lives. His signature vibrant color palette blazes across the composition, rich and deep, the kind of colors that glow off the page and demand a wall of their own.
This is not a piece that sits quietly. Big Trouble owns the room.
